- you can report this problem to macbookproblem@mac.com with the complete serial number of your computer, model , date of purchase,outcome and as much information as you want. Weekly updates of number of users experiencing shutdown, including serial number, date of purchase and information about the problem will be published on the web. So far (as of Sept 4th), we have 52 reports of macbook users with this problem. Some had their computer replaced, other had a replacement of their logic board. Some experienced shutdown even after first or second attempt for repair:
- for me it started only after the macbook firmware update. Is there a way to reverse that? Has anyone had these problems before the firmware update?
